Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) in My.GARMTECH

Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds an extra verification step when logging in to My.GARMTECH. Even if someone learns your password, they cannot log in without your 2FA code.

Before you enable 2FA

  • Install an authenticator app on your phone (for example Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or any TOTP-compatible app).
  • Make sure you can receive login emails and access your client area normally.

Enable 2FA in My.GARMTECH

  1. Log in to My.GARMTECH.
  2. Open Account / Security Settings (the menu name may vary).
  3. Find Two-Factor Authentication and click Activate.
  4. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app (or enter the secret key manually).
  5. Enter the 6‑digit code from the app to confirm.
  6. Save your backup codes in a safe place.

Using 2FA

Next time you log in, My.GARMTECH will ask for:

  • Your password, and
  • A one-time code from the authenticator app.

If you lose access to your phone

  • Use the saved backup codes if available.
  • If you cannot use backup codes, account access recovery may require verification via a support request from the account owner.

Security tips

  • Use a strong, unique password for My.GARMTECH.
  • Do not share 2FA codes or backup codes with anyone.
