Set up GARMTECH Business Email on iPhone/iPad (Apple Mail)

This article explains how to set up a GARMTECH Business Email mailbox on iPhone or iPad using the built‑in Apple Mail app. You can use an automatic configuration profile from GARMTECH.Email (recommended) or configure the mailbox manually.

Option A (recommended): Install the Apple configuration profile

  1. Open GARMTECH.Email and sign in to your mailbox.
  2. Open Settings and find the section for Mobile devices / Configuration profile.
  3. Download the profile for Apple iOS/macOS.
  4. On your iPhone/iPad, open the downloaded profile and follow the installation prompts.
  5. After installation, open Mail and verify you can send and receive messages.

Option B: Manual setup (IMAP)

You will need the mail server hostname from My.GARMTECH (Business Email service details).

  1. On iOS, go to SettingsMailAccountsAdd Account.
  2. Select OtherAdd Mail Account.
  3. Enter your name, full email address, password, and a description.
  4. Select IMAP and enter the server settings above.
  5. Username is your full email address. Password is your mailbox password.
  6. Save the account and test sending an email.

Troubleshooting

  • Certificate warning: use the exact server hostname from My.GARMTECH (not your domain name and not garmtech.email).
  • Cannot send mail: ensure SMTP authentication is enabled and the outgoing port is 465 with SSL/TLS.
