This article explains how to set up a GARMTECH Business Email mailbox on iPhone or iPad using the built‑in Apple Mail app. You can use an automatic configuration profile from GARMTECH.Email (recommended) or configure the mailbox manually.
Option A (recommended): Install the Apple configuration profile
- Open GARMTECH.Email and sign in to your mailbox.
- Open Settings and find the section for Mobile devices / Configuration profile.
- Download the profile for Apple iOS/macOS.
- On your iPhone/iPad, open the downloaded profile and follow the installation prompts.
- After installation, open Mail and verify you can send and receive messages.
Option B: Manual setup (IMAP)
You will need the mail server hostname from My.GARMTECH (Business Email service details).

- On iOS, go to Settings → Mail → Accounts → Add Account.
- Select Other → Add Mail Account.
- Enter your name, full email address, password, and a description.
- Select IMAP and enter the server settings above.
- Username is your full email address. Password is your mailbox password.
- Save the account and test sending an email.
Troubleshooting
- Certificate warning: use the exact server hostname from My.GARMTECH (not your domain name and not
garmtech.email).
- Cannot send mail: ensure SMTP authentication is enabled and the outgoing port is
465 with SSL/TLS.
