This article explains how to set up a mailbox created in hosting in Microsoft Outlook, Mozilla Thunderbird, and Apple Mail.
Use your full email address as the username and the mailbox password you set in Plesk.
For newly added domains on hosting, mail autodiscovery may work automatically in supported email apps. If the app does not detect the settings correctly, enter them manually.

Manual mail settings
- Incoming mail: IMAP, port 993, SSL/TLS
- Outgoing mail: SMTP, port 465, SSL/TLS
- SMTP authentication: enabled
- Username: full email address
- Password: mailbox password
- SMTP username: same full email address as for IMAP
- SMTP password: same password as for IMAP
- Server name: your service server hostname
You can find the correct server hostname in My.GARMTECH or in your hosting service details.
Microsoft Outlook
- Open Outlook and choose Add Account.
- Enter your email address.
- If Outlook does not configure the account automatically, choose manual setup.
- Select IMAP.
- Enter the incoming and outgoing server settings shown above.
- Enable SMTP authentication and use the same full email address and password as for IMAP.
- Finish the setup and send a test email.
Mozilla Thunderbird
- Open Thunderbird and choose to set up an existing mail account.
- Enter your name, email address, and password.
- Click Configure manually if needed.
- Select IMAP.
- Use port 993 with SSL/TLS for incoming mail.
- Use port 465 with SSL/TLS for outgoing mail.
- Enable SMTP authentication and use the same full email address and password as for IMAP.
- Save the account settings.
Apple Mail
- Open Apple Mail and add a new account.
- Enter your name, email address, and password.
- If the app does not fill in the settings automatically, enter them manually.
- Use IMAP for incoming mail and SMTP for outgoing mail.
- Enable SMTP authentication and use the same full email address and password as for IMAP.
- Save the settings and test sending and receiving.
Webmail
If you prefer to work in a browser, use webmail at https://garmtech.email.
Sign in with your full email address and mailbox password.
Note: If you do not know your server hostname, check My.GARMTECH or open your hosting service details first.
