GARMTECH.Email contacts: address book, groups, and shared contacts

GARMTECH.Email includes a built‑in Contacts / Address Book. It helps you store contact details, create groups, and (if enabled for your mailbox) use a shared address book for your domain.

Open Contacts

  1. Sign in to GARMTECH.Email.
  2. Open Contacts or Address Book (usually available in the top menu or the “apps” selector).

Add a new contact

  1. Click New contact.
  2. Enter at least the name and email address.
  3. Optionally add phone number, company, position, notes, etc.
  4. Click Save.

Create groups (useful for newsletters or team emails)

  1. In Contacts, create a Group (or New group).
  2. Name the group (for example, “Sales”, “Support”, “Managers”).
  3. Add contacts to the group.

Shared address book for your domain

Some GARMTECH.Email plans provide a shared address book, which means contacts can be visible to multiple users in the same domain.

  • If you see an address book named Shared (or similar), you can save contacts there to make them available for colleagues.
  • If you do not see a shared address book, your mailbox may not have it enabled.

Import or export contacts

  • Import is usually available in Contacts settings. Use it to upload a CSV or vCard (VCF) file.
  • Export lets you download your contacts as a file for backup or migration.

Tips

  • Autocomplete in the “To:” field becomes more accurate when your contacts are saved in the address book.
  • For team mailboxes, consider using groups instead of manually selecting recipients each time.
