This article explains how to use the built‑in Calendar in GARMTECH.Email to plan events, share a calendar, and subscribe to external calendars (for example, Google Calendar).
Open the Calendar
- Open GARMTECH.Email and sign in with your email address and password.
- Open Calendar (usually available in the top menu or the “apps” selector).
Create a new calendar
- In the left panel, find the list of calendars.
- Click Add / + (or open the calendar settings).
- Enter a name (for example, “Team”, “Meetings”, “Personal”).
- Save your changes.
Create an event
- Click the date/time in the calendar grid.
- Fill in the event details: title, date/time, timezone (if available), location and notes.
- If your interface supports invitations, add attendees by email.
- Click Save.
Share a calendar with colleagues
Sharing options can differ depending on your plan and interface modules. Common options include:
- Share with users (colleagues using mailboxes in the same service).
- Open the calendar’s settings (often via a three‑dots menu next to the calendar name).
- Open Sharing.
- Add a user/email or create a link and set permissions.
- Save. Ask the recipient to refresh the page or re‑open Calendar.
Subscribe to an external calendar
If you already use a calendar service elsewhere, you can usually add it as a subscription (read‑only) via an iCal/ICS link.
- In Calendar, open Add calendar → Subscribe (names may vary).
- Paste the external calendar URL (ICS/iCal) and confirm.
- Wait a few minutes and refresh Calendar.
Tips and troubleshooting
- Events show at the wrong time → check your timezone in GARMTECH.Email settings and in your browser/device.
- You don’t see Calendar → your mailbox may not have the Calendar module enabled. Try logging out/in first.
- Sharing does not work → verify the recipient was added with the correct email address, and that you granted the required permission level.
