This article explains how to use the built‑in Calendar in GARMTECH.Email to plan events, share a calendar, and subscribe to external calendars (for example, Google Calendar).

Open the Calendar

  1. Open GARMTECH.Email and sign in with your email address and password.
  2. Open Calendar (usually available in the top menu or the “apps” selector).

Create a new calendar

  1. In the left panel, find the list of calendars.
  2. Click Add / + (or open the calendar settings).
  3. Enter a name (for example, “Team”, “Meetings”, “Personal”).
  4. Save your changes.

Create an event

  1. Click the date/time in the calendar grid.
  2. Fill in the event details: title, date/time, timezone (if available), location and notes.
  3. If your interface supports invitations, add attendees by email.
  4. Click Save.

Share a calendar with colleagues

Sharing options can differ depending on your plan and interface modules. Common options include:

  • Share with users (colleagues using mailboxes in the same service).
  1. Open the calendar’s settings (often via a three‑dots menu next to the calendar name).
  2. Open Sharing.
  3. Add a user/email or create a link and set permissions.
  4. Save. Ask the recipient to refresh the page or re‑open Calendar.

Subscribe to an external calendar

If you already use a calendar service elsewhere, you can usually add it as a subscription (read‑only) via an iCal/ICS link.

  1. In Calendar, open Add calendarSubscribe (names may vary).
  2. Paste the external calendar URL (ICS/iCal) and confirm.
  3. Wait a few minutes and refresh Calendar.

Tips and troubleshooting

  • Events show at the wrong time → check your timezone in GARMTECH.Email settings and in your browser/device.
  • You don’t see Calendar → your mailbox may not have the Calendar module enabled. Try logging out/in first.
  • Sharing does not work → verify the recipient was added with the correct email address, and that you granted the required permission level.
