Connect to GARMTECH Cloud Storage (Nextcloud): web, desktop, mobile, WebDAV

GARMTECH Cloud Storage is powered by Nextcloud and can be used from a browser, desktop sync app, mobile app, and via WebDAV.

What you need

• Your Cloud Storage URL (shown in My.GARMTECH on your Cloud Storage service page, or in the welcome email)
• Your username and password

Access from a browser

1. Open your Cloud Storage URL in a browser.
2. Log in with your Cloud Storage username and password.
3. You can upload/download files, create folders, and manage shares from the web interface.

Sync from a computer (Windows / macOS / Linux)

1. Install the Nextcloud Desktop Client on your computer.
2. When asked for the server address, enter your Cloud Storage URL.
3. Log in and approve access (a browser window may open for login).
4. Select which folders to sync and choose a local folder on your device.

Use from a phone (iOS / Android)

1. Install the Nextcloud app from your app store.
2. Enter the Cloud Storage URL and log in.
3. Enable auto-upload for photos if you want (optional).

Connect via WebDAV (advanced)

WebDAV is useful for file managers and integrations. The WebDAV path in Nextcloud typically looks like this:

https://YOUR-CLOUD-URL/remote.php/dav/files/USERNAME/

• Replace YOUR-CLOUD-URL with your Cloud Storage URL.
• Replace USERNAME with your Cloud Storage username.
• If your Cloud Storage is installed in a subfolder (example /nextcloud), the URL becomes https://YOUR-CLOUD-URL/nextcloud/remote.php/dav/files/USERNAME/.

Troubleshooting

• Login works in browser but not in app: verify the exact URL (with https://) and try copying it from My.GARMTECH.
• Sync is slow: initial sync can take time. Leave the client running and avoid interrupting the first upload.
• 2FA enabled: some apps require an app password. Create it in the Cloud Storage security settings if needed.
