GARMTECH Cloud Storage (powered by Nextcloud) can sync your Calendar and Contacts with devices and applications using open standards:
- CalDAV — calendar synchronization
- CardDAV — contacts synchronization
The most important part is to use the correct Cloud Storage URL and to copy the DAV addresses from your account.
Step 1 — Find your CalDAV/CardDAV addresses
- Log in to Cloud Storage using the URL shown in My.GARMTECH.
- Open your profile/personal settings and look for a section like Sync, WebDAV, CalDAV or CardDAV.
- Copy the provided CalDAV and/or CardDAV links. These links are specific to your account and are the most reliable configuration source.
Step 2 — Add the account on iPhone/iPad (iOS)
- Open Settings on your device.
- Go to Calendar → Accounts → Add Account → Other.
- Select Add CalDAV Account (for calendars) and/or Add CardDAV Account (for contacts).
- Enter:
- Server: your Cloud Storage domain/host (the same one you use in the browser)
- User Name: your Cloud Storage username
- Password: your Cloud Storage password
- Save and allow the device to sync.
If the device does not discover calendars/contacts automatically, use the exact CalDAV/CardDAV link from Cloud Storage settings as a reference (some apps allow entering the full URL).
Step 3 — Add the account on macOS
- Open System Settings → Internet Accounts.
- Add a CalDAV account (and CardDAV if needed).
- Use the Cloud Storage server name, username and password.
Step 4 — Add the account on Android
Android often requires a CalDAV/CardDAV sync app. Common options include DAV clients that support CalDAV/CardDAV accounts.
- Add a new account in the chosen app.
- Use your Cloud Storage URL/host and login credentials.
- If asked for a “base URL”, use the CalDAV/CardDAV link shown in your Cloud Storage settings.
Troubleshooting tips
- 401 Unauthorized: wrong username/password.
- SSL/certificate errors: make sure you use the correct Cloud Storage hostname from My.GARMTECH and connect via HTTPS.
- No calendars/contacts appear: confirm that the Calendar/Contacts apps are enabled in your Cloud Storage account and that you selected the correct account in device settings.
