Request service cancellation in My.GARMTECH

If you no longer need a service, you can submit a cancellation request in My.GARMTECH. This helps avoid unexpected renewals and keeps your account tidy.

Before you request cancellation

  • Back up your data (website files, databases, mailboxes, and any important content).
  • If the service is a Hosting plan, you can create a backup in Plesk (Backup Manager) and download it.
  • If the service includes a domain, manage domain renewals separately (domains are not automatically cancelled when a hosting plan is cancelled).

Request cancellation in My.GARMTECH

  1. Log in to My.GARMTECH.
  2. Go to ServicesMy Services.
  3. Open the service you want to cancel.
  4. Click Request Cancellation.
  5. Select the cancellation type:
    • End of billing period — service remains active until the paid period ends.
    • Immediate — service may be terminated as soon as the request is processed.
  6. Optionally add a reason/comment and submit the request.

What happens after cancellation

  • After the cancellation date, the service may stop working and data may be removed according to the service terms.
  • If you change your mind before the service is terminated, you can open the service page and check whether you can cancel the request (availability depends on the current status).

Tip: If you are migrating away, keep the service active until the new website/email is fully working.
