My.GARMTECH allows you to change your plan without creating a new order. This is useful when you need more (or less) disk space, CPU/RAM, mailboxes, or other plan resources.

Upgrade or downgrade a plan

  1. Log in to My.GARMTECH.
  2. Go to ServicesMy Services.
  3. Open the service you want to change (for example, Website Hosting or VPS).
  4. Click Upgrade/Downgrade (sometimes called Upgrade/Downgrade Options).
  5. Select the new plan and review the price difference.
  6. Confirm the order. If an invoice is created, pay it to apply the change.

Important notes before downgrading

  • Make sure your current usage fits the new plan limits (disk space, databases, mailboxes, etc.).
  • For VPS, a downgrade may not automatically reduce disk size. In some cases, a downgrade requires a data migration or OS reinstallation to shrink storage safely.
  • For Hosting, changing plans is usually quick, but heavy websites may briefly restart PHP workers or services.

After the change

  • Refresh the service page in My.GARMTECH to verify the new plan name and limits.
  • If you upgraded Hosting, you may also review your website’s settings in Plesk (PHP version, caching, SSL, etc.).

Tip: If you are unsure which plan to choose, compare the limits in the order page first, then upgrade/downgrade.
