As a GARMTECH user, it is important to be aware that our web hosting servers (including classic hosting, ASP.NET hosting, and WordPress hosting packages) no longer support unsecure email protocols such as POP3, IMAP, and SMTP. This means that if you want to access your email, you will need to reconfigure your email client to use secure email protocols.

There are several advantages to using secure email protocols such as POP3-SSL, IMAP-SSL, and SMTPS. First and foremost, these protocols encrypt your data as it is transmitted, which helps to protect your privacy and keep your information secure. In addition, secure protocols are generally more reliable and less prone to errors than unsecure protocols.

However, there are also some disadvantages to using unsecure email protocols. For one, they do not provide the same level of security as secure protocols, which makes your data more vulnerable to being intercepted or accessed by unauthorized parties. In addition, some email providers may block unsecure protocols, which can make it difficult or impossible to access your email. Also your password could be intercepted by the attacker and your email could be used as a source of SPAM mailing, compromising your reputation and delivery reputation of your domain name.

If you want to continue accessing your email through GARMTECH, it is important to reconfigure your email client to use secure protocols. Here are instructions for doing so.
