When you write an email in GARMTECH.Email, you can often attach files not only from your computer, but also directly from connected cloud services (for example, Cloud Storage, Dropbox, or Google Drive).
This is useful when the file is already stored online — you avoid downloading it first and you always attach the latest version.
Attach a file from a cloud service
- Sign in to GARMTECH.Email.
- Click Compose to create a new email.
- Click the Attach button (paperclip icon).
- Select the option to attach from a cloud service (the name may be “Cloud”, “Drive”, “From cloud”, etc.).
- Choose the service you want to connect (Cloud Storage / Dropbox / Google Drive).
- If this is your first time, approve the authorization request.
- Select a file and confirm to attach it to the message.
Security and privacy notes
- Only connect cloud services on trusted devices. Avoid using public/shared computers.
- If you connected the wrong account, open GARMTECH.Email Settings and remove/revoke the connected service.
- For sensitive documents, consider sharing a link with a password/expiration (if your interface offers link‑sharing) instead of attaching a copy.
Troubleshooting
- You don’t see any cloud attachment option → the feature may not be enabled for your mailbox or browser. Try another browser and sign in again.
- Authorization fails → check if your browser blocks pop‑ups or third‑party cookies, then retry.
