GARMTECH hosting uses LiteSpeed Enterprise. For WordPress, the recommended caching plugin is LiteSpeed Cache (LSCache). Caching is great for performance, but it can also cause “I changed something, but I still see the old version”.

This article explains how to clear cache safely.

1) Purge cache from WordPress (LSCache)

If you can log in to WordPress admin:

  1. Open WordPress Admin (/wp-admin).
  2. In the top admin bar, find LiteSpeed → click Purge All.
  3. Alternatively: LiteSpeed CacheToolboxPurgePurge All.

2) Clear browser cache (quick check)

  • Open the page in a private/incognito window.
  • Or hard refresh:
    • Windows/Linux: Ctrl + F5
    • macOS: Cmd + Shift + R

3) If you use Cloudflare or another CDN

If your domain uses Cloudflare caching (or another CDN), you may need to purge cache there as well, otherwise you can still see an old version even after LSCache purge.

4) If you cannot access wp-admin

If the admin area is broken after an update and you need to disable LSCache temporarily:

  1. Connect to your hosting via FTP‑SSL (FTPS) or open Plesk → Files.
  2. Go to httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/.
  3. Rename the folder litespeed-cache to litespeed-cache.disabled.
  4. Reload your website. WordPress will treat the plugin as disabled.

After troubleshooting, rename the folder back and purge cache again.

When should you purge cache?

  • After changing a theme or CSS.
  • After editing page builder layouts.
  • After updating plugins that affect frontend output.
  • After changing “permalinks” or rewrite rules.
